A Simple Introduction Would Do Just Fine....
A Former WWII POW by the name of Aiden Crawley once said, "The fear of escaping has less to do with the thought of being recaptured and more to do with physical inertia or the initial shock of capture."
I have found this to be true also in the business world amongst fellow employees. It's almost as if there is an action paralysis type mentality that sets in when it comes to the idea of creating a business of their own. They like the idea of it. The majority of them possess the skill sets necessary to run their own companies. But, if ruled by fear, and an unwillingness to move forward with their ideas, then the capture shock will remain.
Among many things, I desire for Catalyst to resist capture shock and be in a constant state of forward motion striving to please our most valued asset, our customers. Without them we don't exist. With them we reach for excellence. For them we serve integrity.
So, how do we accomplish this as a company? If you visit the Catalyst website http://www.catalystatg.com/ you will find our philosophy is simple, "Train others the way you want to be trained". The instructors that work for Catalyst are all former military, and some with a very impressive background. We have all spent countless days, weeks, months, and even years being trained in various skill sets. And I can tell you first hand there is nothing worse than sitting in a course for two weeks and walking away no better off then when you first began.
This company takes training very seriously because we know there may not be another opportunity to share what needs to be learned with our clients. The majority of our clients operate overseas and are taking risks every day. If we waste a single afternoon in our training program then we could very well be missing the thing that needs to be said or taught to keep our clients alive.
Now, with all that being said, allow me to answer a very big question. What is it exactly that Catalyst does? I'm glad you asked. We are a multifaceted training company that specializes in a few different critical fields of expertise.
The first pertains to what we consider High-Risk personnel traveling throughout the world. And yes, the US is included. Let's not overlook our beautiful homeland just yet. In case you didn't know, Phoenix, Arizona is the worlds second most dangerous city when it comes to kidnap-for-ransom. Yes, that's right, I said second in the world. Mexico City is numero uno.
The training seminars offered to our High-Risk clients are specifically tailored to their needs. What do I mean by specifically tailored? If our clients are operating in South America then the training is revolved around South America. This way they become very familiar with the potential threats, current events, terrorist organizations, and historical facts revolving around kidnap-for-ransom cases.
More specifically though, the training teaches them how to first avoid being kidnapped and secondly, how to apply the appropriate behavior during abduction, while being held, and during release or escape. Also, we work with the organizations we train to give them an understanding of how negotiations will work if one of their employees becomes abducted.
To give you an even more in depth look at just how tailored the training becomes let me give you the following. Our instructors spend a tremendous amount of time reading the different types of students we have in each class. They look for levels participation, moods, demeanor's, etc. and match up each student with an appropriate training dilemma that will produce the best student learning outcome.
Our instructors are experts when it comes to reading body language and gauging student learning. This course, as well as the others, are extremely challenging but always in control. Our clients always walk away with confidence and proficiency. If not then we have failed in our job.
The second course we offer is geared in a different direction. This course and the next one I will discuss are driven towards Law Enforcement personnel. We teach a course called Criminal Intelligence Collection.
The design of this course is to take either an entry level detective or a seasoned veteran to the next levels of conducting legal interviews. I say next level(s) because rarely do our students learn at the same pace. Especially when you are taking someone with zero skills and someone with great skills through the same course.
Again though, much like the High-Risk course, the training is tailored specifically to the client. Our instructors work diligently to ensure each student is meeting the standards of the course with excellence. And, if some students have a greater sense of what needs to happen in the course then we have the luxury of increasing their learning capacity and challenging them even more.
Also for the Law Enforcement side of the house we offer a Source Handling course. This course teaches that once armed with the necessary tools, the trained investigator will be able to conduct longer term investigations that involve surveillance, controlled buys, search warrant applications, case management and source handling.
Lastly, but certainly not least is our Department of Defense(DoD) clients. Again, as stated on our website I must inform you that due to the nature of our training DoD and the classifications of their operations, it is our duty to protect their requests for our services.
I will say this though, training the DoD has been a tremendous honor. Catalyst is a veteran owned company that supports our military 100% and the men and women who fight for our freedom each and every day.
So there's a snap shot of our training programs. If you consider us for your advanced training needs I can assure you of one thing. You won't be disappointed.
In closing I would like to say this,
God, in His good pleasure, could allow for this company to be successful beyond my wildest expectations, or allow for it to crumble by morning. Either way, He is still good. Until then you can be rest assured this company will continue to pursue it's clients with integrity, service, and excellence by providing them with the best their is to offer in advanced training.
Sincerely,
Cameron Gamble
